Silver

Some random sights that caught my eye in NYC last month:

The flip side of when the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie.

The next trend in medicine--vertebrae replacement to go with your new hips and knees.

If you've still got it, flaunt it!

Grandstanding.

You Got the Silver

  1. Lynne, am wondering what the story on the moon eye is here, kept doing a double take when seeing that, not knowing what to make of it. Looks like an artillery shell stuck in his eye ??? But why ??? Saw a real picture like that of an unexploded artillery shell that stuck in a tree, the tree had about the same expression...

Funny, that old car with the wing tail fins, saw one just like it, but black, driving down the road here Saturday on the way to work, very rare in France...

Ah the day people can replace their aching and worn out vertebrae... there's going to be a line ten miles long outside every clinic... hope your back is ok...

Did you see Shine A Light ??? I'm wagering you did. I particularly liked the version of "Live With Me" in that, with Christine I-Can't-Spell-her-last-name-and-am-too-lazy-to-look-it-up... great film, really captures the aging stones.

Looks like you had a grand time in NYC, grandstanding and all... hope you caught some good food too ?

  2. Shine a Light, yes I did get to see it but only on DVD as I was travelling and kept missing it in theatres. But the best was Steel Wheels at the Imax!!!

Food in NYC: had the best gnocchi of my life in Greenwich Village at Rocco's--served with a rich Gorgonzola sauce. I think we had 5 different waiters serving us--each homelier than the last! Wonderful.
