If you look closely, you can just make out some of those resorts/condominium complexes across the water. But look at those trees silhouetted against the mountains glowing in the magnificence of the setting sun!
Here we see the peaks of the condos mimicking the mountain peaks.
Do you think that was intentional on the part of the architect?
A lone figure enjoys a walk along the beach as the sun goes down,
casting a magical glow.
The day goes out in a blaze of glory...
as night time quietly creeps in,
signifying the end of a wonderful day.
Wow, wow, wow... Incredible beauty...
ReplyDeleteYes, it was a real treat...and unexpected at that, which made it even more thrilling.
DeleteCame visiting via Merisi - what a wonderful sky, the second photo showing the condos is like a work of art.
ReplyDeleteThat was a long journey! Glad you made it. :-) I'm happy that you found something "artful" here.
DeletePack my bags.
ReplyDeleteI think you already did that a few decades ago and set off in the opposite direction.
DeleteI wanna be that lone figure on the beach.
ReplyDeleteWell, bundle up then, Jann--it might be a tad chillier than what you're used to.
DeleteWhat a pity you can't share a picture of your own! I'd add to your gorgeous sunset mine, which I collect on my trips. In Pathos, Valencia, Paris, Firenze sunsets are different. And each is unique!
ReplyDeleteYes, that would be fun to share and compare sunset photos. I think there are blogs that do just that, such as Skywatch Friday, although not necessarily just sunsets on that one.
Deleteglorious indeed! by the last photo i was totally out of breath...
ReplyDeleteMe, too, Roxana! I had to keep jumping in and out of the car to get another shot as the sunset just kept on getting more magnificent.
DeleteWow.....this looks spectacular......wonderful to experience I imagine!
ReplyDeleteRuby
It truly was, Ruby. A spectacular end to a most enjoyable day. Cherry on the sundae, so to speak.
Deletewow that is truly fabulous.....what an artist's palette the sky becomes...
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing? If I were to paint a picture with that palette I think I'd be severely criticized for being overly romantic or imaginative in my use of colours.
DeleteOhhhh those skies are just amazing. There's so much magic to those moments.
ReplyDeleteSo much magic, you're right-- Mother Nature delving deep into her bag of bedazzlements and putting on a grand show for free.
DeleteGorgeous and glorious shots.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! It was truly a gorgeous moment I was fortunate enough to witness. Right place, right time with camera.
ReplyDelete:-)
A magnificent finish I would say. That certainly is a place to fall in love with.... must have been hard to leave.
ReplyDeleteIt is certainly an area I wouldn't mind living in. And you're right, I would have enjoyed lingering longer.
