scenes seen through one artist's eyes
OK I'm standing by but don't be too long. I'm kinda shakey on one leg.
Yoga pose! Easier than Tree.
Il est bien beau ton héron.
Merci, Renée! ça me fait beaucoup de plaisir de te trouver ici. xo
Oh my goodness - beautiful photos! I *love* Herons. And what a beauty it is! Looking forward to more :)
I love herons, too! They have a special meaning for me as there was one standing on a rock on the beach where I went to find some solace on the day of my father's funeral several years ago. Whenever I see one, I try to get a picture, but am usually not as lucky as with this splendid specimen in the Halifax gardens. I guess he was more used to people.
What a handsome bird! You've captured him nicely Lynne.
Thank you, Valerie! So nice to have a visit from you here in the gardens. Birds of a feather...
Almost surreal with that mirror like water and the bright colours. Lovely !
For me it was almost too good to be true, that fine feathered fellow just waiting to be snapped up by my camera! Yes, almost surreal...
One of my favourite birds and subjects as you might have known by my header. ;) I read what you said about seeing the heron on the day of your father's funeral. I had a similar experiences with gulls on the day of my own dad's funeral.
