Chugging back into Action

Slowly getting myself back into gear with processing my photos and blogging.  Here's a result of some recent playtime.

The original photo of this little old bug-eyed beauty can be seen in the post below.  I toyed with it in Photoshop then added more effects with an editing software that I downloaded for a thirty-day trial, called Perfect Photo Suite 7 from onOne Software.

The tractor itself is for sale and sits at the bottom of our neighbour's driveway. I am quite in love with the beast
(tractor, not neighbour!)

  1. Ahhhh - you are back in the saddle again :) Looking forward to your "Lotus Land" photos :) I once had a the opportunity to ride an old Oliver tractor. Being a "city girl" I thought that was the coolest thing! Now I'm sure it is out to pasture - like me :) lol

    1. Yup, back in the driver's seat. Will have to follow your example and pose in a tractor as that will be as close as I'll ever get to actually driving one. Out to pasture, indeed! I prefer to think of us as outstanding in our fields.

  2. Lovely effect... it looks almost as if it is a collage to me, the way you have processed it. I like old tractors too. Some people devote their spare time to them, our neighbour used to.

    1. Layers and layers of effects, so you're quite right in your impression of it being like a collage. Our neighbour seems to collect old tractors, too, as he seems to have a couple for sale every summer. Unless he just hauls the same ones out and I can't tell the difference.

  3. I can totally relate to sitting in the shade provided by that ol' beasty (the tractor I mean) and supping a quiet lager, while giving some thought to what to harvest next!

    1. Or if not thy neighbour, at least his equipment.
