Away From the Sky

What can I say...the sky caught fire and I bore witness to its beauty...

a winged creature hovered briefly

river imitated sky

while rivers of light played upon the window

creating phantom worlds of smoke and mirrors

casting symbols of hope and resurrection, even for those who do not believe,

lingering just this side of bliss

  1. Beautiful sky. The colours are just delicious. I love how the window frame creates a cross. That's a stunning photo.

    1. It was stunning how the fields and river were just flooded with that glorious pink and gold light. The river never looked so good, calm and reflective of the world above it.

    1. I truly did not know what to say about these pictures. I let the words simply flow as each picture came up on the screen. Your own words bring much scope for contemplation. I am touched that my images have communicated my own sense of awe so that you could share it.
