I am having such a good time being on the road, I think I'll just keep on going! Next time I blog to you, I'll be in Vancouver. West Coast or Bust, babies!
I am guessing that you really do mean West Coast" and not "West Coast or Bust"...you see thats the type of blogging that can get a gal in trouble, you mark my words young lady, when Owen gets a whiff of that he'll be suggesting Bust I bet! Happy trails, m'dear!
OMG, is this for real ??? What on earth was this mirror ??? Or is it a montage/collage ? Or was it by the roadside to help someone coming out of a driveway or some such ? And is Mad Lynne really on a coast to coast road adventure all of a sudden ? Wow, what happened to bring that on ??? Or had it been planned for a while ? And what's all this about "Bust" ? The Marvellous Saj is right, that is an intriguing term, a multi-meaning word... better to be bussed than to have to walk all the way, and better a glimpse of bust than to be busted, as in "Busted, down on Bourbon Street"... now there is a song that would appeal to the Saj's finer instincts ! Well, if you really are off across a continent, have a great time... better to get out and cross a continent, that to stay in and be incontinent... (ha ha ha... hee hee)
Oh dear, whatever will the Saj say ?
WV = tunkya ; as in : I tunkya should'a packed'a little bit more ice in the ice chest...
Hi Saj! I made it to the west coast and didn't even have to show any cleavage to do so! My mother had cider and wine awaiting my arrival, so am off to a good start on my visit! I am now on the same ocean as you! We're practically neighbours.
Anya, Thanks for the send off! I hated to leave my cat behind but the trip would have killed her. She doesn't even like going in a car. I hope she'll forgive me when I return.
Hi Margaret, Even though I'm on the other side of the continent, I'm still here, hopefully coming through loud and clear in the blogosphere! I will be sending postcards at this site and stopping by to check on my blogfriends whenever I get the chance. I may actually have things to blog about. Imagine that!
Owen, "tunkya" very much for stopping by to look me in the eyes of the trip mirror. There's another mirror image (not to be redundant) over at Ragzedge. You'll probably eventually put two and two together.
I took the skyway west rather than the highway. I'm sitting in the den of the house where I spent my latter teen years. Not that I spent the whole time in the den! Chillin' with my mother, and my sister's due in tonight, from Victoria (Van.Island). In fact, I hear her car now, so will sign off, with a buss on each cheek for you. Facially speaking, that is.
