Fuzzy Little Friends

I had a complaint that my Saturday rust bucket blog was not to someone's liking, so I thought I'd put in a warm fuzzy. Tender little beings (not sure whether they're animal or vegetable!) popping up in our friends' garden.

  3. They look alien, neither vegetable nor animal... but are they edible? Do they cause hallucinations??? Or poisonous?

As for your Saturday rust bucket, jeez, what is there not to love about it? If you look through my past posts you will find a number of my "dream cars"... which are distant cousins to your rust bucket. Also see the link to a blog in Norway in the piece from a few days ago about Three Norwegian blogs... there are some gorgeous rust buckets there !

I enjoyed your proposal for more info on your abandoned house next door... maybe you could post some pix ???

As well as "fairies at the bottom of my garden", there's a few ogres, but friendly ones, I'm sure.

I think the fairies have their sights set on these friendly ogres to spice up their gene pool!

Their cousins, the fiddlehead ferns are indeed edible, if adequately doused with butter. But for all I know, these guys are the real meal deal. I'm not native to these lands myself, being a city girl misplanted in the country.

I'll have to get some pix of our raccoon shelter. Meanwhile, I hope you enjoy the photo of my Calabrian dream palazzo.
