Dream a Little Dream

I've found a new blog that intrigues me and in response to Owen's dream house on view there, I'd like to post a photo of my own dream house in Calabria. Note the tire swing and built-in garden on the balcony.

  1. Yes indeed ! This place has some serious advantages ! Swinging in the tire while contemplating the lovely texture of those walls would be sure to send anyone into a trance-like realm of bliss... and the balcony garden is a bonus, looks like that could be a self sustaining garden plot for fresh salad herbs 9 months a year at least. And gaping openings... very inviting.

Thanks so much for sharing that... but this isn't where the raccoons were, is it? Anyway, looking forward to seeing more where this came from ! Owen

  3. Owen--I love what you say about people leaving comments on blogs. Most of the time I feel like I'm just whistling in the dark. It's gratifying and astonishing when someone whistles back.

  4. Keep whistling ! Eventually an echo comes back even from the deepest void... for some reason the video isn't playing for me, I'll have to try on another machine... but I'm sure I'd be screaming bloody murder if anyone tried to evict the raccoon families. Speaking of which, just did a little piece on a raccoon... linking back here...

  7. Owen: as they say in Acadie, "Worry pas ta tete!" They only pulled off the back of the house, leaving it wonderfully ventillated with a great view of the woods beyond.
