Window on Montreal

I had a fabulous week away, checking out the wildlife in Montreal.

I was open to every opportunity that presented itself

in either of Canada's official languages, English or French.

Rest assured that I wasn't just clowning around...

or up to any monkey business.
Well, at least not too much.

Will by to visit your blogs and see what you've been up to in my absence as soon as the blisters on my feet heal from all the walking I did.
See you soon!

  2. Ahhh my old stompin' grounds. I can see why you did this window shopping. Judging by the first few photos, things were just too deer. ;)

Fun shots. Now go let your heal heel.. or is it heel heal.

    1. A variation of the Paul Simon song, "Diamonds on the Soles of her Shoes"--blisters on the soles of her feet...in spite of purposeful walking sandals! Montreal is just the best place for non-stop walking and gawking. Well, not exactly non-stop due to all the tempting bistros along the way...

      Too "deer"! haha! Too true!

    1. Well, five days was enough to get me pretty tuckered out...though, I admit, still reluctant to leave.

    1. Oh yes, far too many opportunities for that! How we gonna keep her down on the farm, now that she's been to Montreal...

    1. ha ha! It sure seemed green and overgrown here when I got back, though!

Was more than happy to traipse around the big city in summer tunics and capris with sandals, inhaling the intoxicating scent of lilac blossoms (along with the gas fumes).

  7. Glad you had a great time :) You sound refreshed, inspired, and as always bringing back to us your creative wonders :)

On the top photo I thought your watermark was the name of the store! I thought, wow, she's even got a store/gallery in Montreal. But then I can't imagine it would have a deer head posted out front! And the inside doesn't appear to be a art gallery anyway! Was good for a laugh :) Glad you're back! Can hardly wait for the complete tour!

    1. Ha! That would be fabulous and frightening to have my own gallery/store in Montreal...or pretty much anywhere. I did have a great time-your amazing powers of perception did not let you down in that regard!
      :D

    1. I had fun! And the lameness only proved it. A fine tradition? Definitely bringing bigger bandages next time. And there WILL be a next time!
