Indeed, I thought it was rather eggceptional. C is celebrating Easter in Venice; P & I much more modestly here in the Hills. May the Easter bunny find you and the crew in the hoppiest of moods!
I spotted these monstrosities for the first time in Sicily this year. Taller than a 6-year-old and they cost 99 euros. So cute poking through the sunroof, and I love what you've done with the photo!!! (However, even as a chocoholic, my stomach aches just thinking about eating it.) Buona Pasqua!
Buona Pasqua! I used to be fascinated, envious, desirous of having a smaller version of this type of Easter egg when I was a kid but I was never given one. Finally, as a grownup,I bought one for myself. I was rather disappointed with the chocolate--esp. as it was hollow! (well, can you IMAGINE if it was solid???) I think it's more about the wrapping paper and size, than what's inside. But 99 Euros??!! I think I'd choke on it, knowing the price.
You're probably right. And perhaps a few diamonds wrapped up inside the egg. Aint your average basket of jelly beans and cellophane, that's for sure. I hope your own Easter went down a treat!
That's one egg-centric fan of Easter. May yours be happy and that of C & P.

DeleteLooks like a missile! Happy Easter from Marseille - a fantastic city.....
ReplyDeleteA missile...heh heh...I bet the recipients' response was pretty bombastic!
DeleteI can only imagine the size of the Easter bunny that delivered that thing! Happy Easter, L!
ReplyDeleteHa ha...I think his cousin, HUNny Bunny is responsible for the larger deliveries.
