heart
and gratitude for the miracle of love,
in whatever form it may be given
accepting the gift of love as a pearl beyond price.
(but chocolate is always a good substitute, so indulge!)

Gwen,
DeleteTruer words were never spoken--dark chocolate is always appropriate! (Don't tell anyone, especially not anyone I live with, but I always have a secret stash on hand).
Wonderful images, Happy Vday, ,,M

ReplyDeleteJann,
DeleteMille grazie. I hope your San Valentino was bene.

I am off chocolate, so made my beloved a heart shaped quiche! (he was just as pleased as he is not such a chocolate fan)
ReplyDeleteJenny,
DeleteI can't imagine being "off" chocolate...but the proferring of a heart-shaped quiche definitely qualifies as a loving gesture.
I suspect you make a habit of stealing hearts... with your lovely photos.. sense of humour and always fun reads. Hope you had a lovely Valentine's Day.
ReplyDeleteHilary,
DeleteI prefer stealing kisses, actually (those foil-wrapped ones in particular).
Hope you had plenty of chocolate then !
ReplyDeleteI had chocolate because I baked some brownies!! But I was presented with a lovely homemade supper of scallops, orzo, veggies and a bottle of pleasingly crisp Pinot Grigio by my not-insignificant other.
