Bonnie, The first big snowfall of the year is probably the prettiest, don't you think? I prefer to view it from the window rather than up close and personal, myself.
Jann, Oh, I think I'm going to have plenty of opportunities to keep snapping the virtual variety of snow throughout the next several months, though the magic tends to wear off pretty quick, I'm afraid.
How awesome! I remember and miss the days when that is what I saw outside my window. But thankfully, I can come here and look outside your window. I am indeed looking forward to more!
Renée, Thank goodness that there is a little spark of something deep inside me that appreciates the beauty of snow else I would have gone nuts (nuttier) years ago! For me, the best place to experience snow is inside a cozy house, looking out a window, preferably with a glass of red wine in hand. Un peu de rouge...beaucoup de blanc...c'est pas si pire!
Oooo - enchantment indeed! I LOVE Winter and her magic :) Good for dispelling spells... Wonderful photo!
ReplyDeleteMM,
DeleteI think winter has set in for a spell all right.
Ours is washing away as I type.
ReplyDeleteWayne,
DeleteI can't help but wonder just what your typing speed is!
oh this is too beautiful i am mesmerized
ReplyDeleteoh!
(see, Lynne? :-)
truly, one of the loveliest snow photos i have seen...
Roxana,
DeleteI thought of you when I posted this picture, knowing your longing for a real snow fall and your love of magic and mystery.
Wonderful mysterious image. It looks mighty cold!
ReplyDeleteLaura,
DeleteI was so disappointed as a child when I discovered just how cold snow is!
I wish I could experience this for just a day....any longer and my thin Florida blood would freeze...it is just beautiful out your window.
ReplyDeleteDanielle,
DeleteYes, a day's worth of snow-exposure would be about plenty for me too!
Magical! I just took several similar photos of the glory outside our windows. Thanks for sharing your winter wonderland, Lynne.

I love the virtual variety of snow. Stay warm and keep snapping, Lynne, so we can enjoy the magic thru your lens.

Oh it does indeed look enchanting. For now, I'm still happily enchanted with our green grass.
ReplyDeleteHilary,
DeleteOh, I'll gladly swap you a white enchantment for a green one!
Yes, wonderful ! Haven't seen alike in years now already. Still wondering where all that white goes, once snow has melted. Please have a good Friday.
ReplyDeleteRobert,
DeleteJust as well that you are not witnessing snow falling on the streets of Athens as that would indicate some serious weather fluctuations.
How awesome! I remember and miss the days when that is what I saw outside my window. But thankfully, I can come here and look outside your window. I am indeed looking forward to more!
ReplyDeleteStickup,
DeleteI must admit, I am rather looking forward to the time when I might miss the days when snow was the normal sight outside my winter windows!
