A little bit of magic begins to happen.
The musicians radiate their love of making music together and the audience basks in the glow.
Lost in the colours of the hauntingly lovely sounds.
Toes tap in time.
Portrait of a guitarist and his muse.
"Romance is everything."
This week she suggested using one of her free textures, if one felt like so doing. Well, I felt like it and used one she colourfully named "Delightfully Shocking" in the last two photos above.
Do stop by the Artistic Showcase over the weekend for a virtual stroll.
So beautiful. Great editing.
ReplyDeleteThese are fascinating.
ReplyDeleteMakes we want to know more.
Thank you for sharing.
That is really a lovely set of pictures, and beautifully edited. Such a great story it tells.
ReplyDeleteAh, gorgeous, but now I'm dying to hear it, as well as see it... guess I'll just have to imagine it, until you can get your sound link working again... :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it was heavenly...
(as long as no one sat on one of those whoopee cushions :-)
So no one was recording ???
Wonderful work . . . .love them all, Teresa x
ReplyDeleteThank you for adding even more mystery and interest with your story.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos.
Very interesting and unique series of photos. I enjoyed reading the captions underneath. My favorite was the very last photo. I love the richness it has and can just imagine sitting by a warm fire listening to the sounds of the music.
ReplyDeleteingenious... provokes a story in my head...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful painting effects. Nice artwork :)
ReplyDeleteNice expressive pictures, full of atmosphere!
ReplyDeleteAll of them are beautiful but the last one is my favorite. Such a story!
ReplyDeleteLoucia, wow...these are fabulous. Each one really sets the mood of the story perfectly or maybe it's the photos that inspire the story...either way perfect. I visited your other blog as well, love the Dragon Breath...and the Dumbo story.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for visiting my blog and for you wonderful words.
Bright blessings,
Kathy
So beautiful - both the images and the words. Made me feel as though I were there, enveloped in the glow, the music and the aroma of a lovely evening meal. Loved it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for inviting us over for a warm & charming evening. Love all the photos (and the French text on the floor), but I think the one with the moving guitar is my fave.
ReplyDeleteA lovely, artistic series!
ReplyDeleteOh my - you are so innately creative. These pieces are warm, sensual and so intimate. I felt truly invited in ...
ReplyDeleteSo happy you chose to share your talents with Photo Art Friday Lynne! Think this is the first time I have seen anyone publish images using that texture (I love it).
Your dreamy photos never cease to delight.

Last picture is indeed amazing. Nearly able to be felt.
ReplyDeletePlease have you all a good Sunday.
I hadn't seen this before. They turned out beautifully with your tweeking and it was a delightful evening indeed.
ReplyDeleteWhat immediately came to mind viewing the first three images was Dance of the Seven Veils. Warm, seductive, alluring. The romance of night music...
ReplyDeleteAnd the last two, so ingenious!
All are a triumph of both concept and execution...
Robert,
ReplyDeleteI am fond of that picture, myself.
Shayla,
Truly a special evening. I'm happy I got to meet you.
Stickup,
I swear I am going to hire you to be my press agent! heh heh heh
Wonderful, I love those abstract with delicious shades, very good.
ReplyDeleteWas just taking a peek at their website, looks good, sadly my PC at work wouldn't play either the music or the video, will have to try again later from home... so now you know how I spend my lunch breaks...
ReplyDeleteBut gosh, how much pumpkin pie did you have to promise them to get them to come play ??? Do they live nearby or something, or did you fly them in for the evening from Montreal or Quebec or Vancouver ???
Leovi,
ReplyDeleteI am not surprised, but I am pleased, that you like the abstraction.
Owen,
ReplyDeleteThere isn't a video, just the audio. Unless my PC won't play the video! And they've only posted one song, but it's a good one. They're local to Moncton. They were guests at that dinner party my friend hosted a few weeks ago. She invited various artist friends of hers, and these particular artists sang for their supper. It was a lovely moment...but it was only a moment, not a songfest. Now tell me, do you whip out the old guitar when supper guests come over? BTW, if you'd like to hear some more Adam Cohen, go here:

just don't try it on your lunch hour. (I was listening to it at work today, ha ha!)
Sounds like a lovely evening, and the photos are very atmospheric :)
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done. I can sure feel the mood.
ReplyDeleteRachel and Hilary,
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you could make it to this little musical interlude and enjoyed the experience.
